CONFIRMING AMKNDED .A.SS&SSMKNT
LOMA VERDE ANNEX SEVERS
PROJBCT NO. 47-5
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City or Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, said Council did on the 10th day or March, 1952,
order the City Englneer to make and file with aaid Council an
amended assessment of the parcel of property the former assessment
upon which under Resolution or Intention No. 1620 of said Council
is designated upon the original assessment and diagram and
confirmed by said Council on January 12, 1948, and recorded in the
office of the Superintendent of Streets of said City, as dlag~am
and assessment No. 91;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 11th day of March,
1952, pursuant to said order, .file with the Clerk of said City a
diagram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 24th day of March,
1952, as the time for hearing said amended assessment and caused
notice of said hearing to be published tw1.ce in the Palo Al to Times,
as appears from the af.f1dav1t of publication on file in the office
of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at 'Che time and place fixed for said hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said Counc1J.;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
filed wlth the Clerk or said City pursuant to resolution ordering
same be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED .. that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and eaid
City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment with
a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City that it
1s the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in said
original diagram and assessment No. 91 that it has been displaced
by said amended assessment, giving the date, and shall credit upon
such amended assessment all payments theretofore made upon the
original assessment. When said amended assessment has b~en recorded,
the C1ty Engineer shall cause the cr1g1nal assessment involved to be
cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the C1ty Council of the City or Palo Alt~ at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 24th day of March, 1952,
by the following vote:
