HF.SOLVED, by the Council of the City of Pa.lo Alto, Cal1forn1a,
WHEREAS, on January 28, 1952, this Council adopted 1ts
Resolution No. 2214 of Intention to Modify Preliminary Proceedings~
wherein 1 t did preliminarily deter011ne th.at the public convon1erJce
and necessity require, and that it intends to order certain modifi-
cations therein particularly descr1ved, in the .,,·ork to be d.one and
.) proceedings being conducted under Resolution No. 2186 of Preliminary
Determ1natlon, adopted November 26, l951; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution No. 2214, notice has
been duly given of the time and place when and where said Council
will consider and finally determine whether the public convenience
and necessity require said mod1f1cations,and when and where 1t
will consider nnd 1'inally act upon the matter of making said
mod1f1cat1ons and when and where it will hear all prot~sts 1n relati(m thereto; and

WHEREAS, persons interested appeared or filed written protests
against said proceed1ng3 or any part thereof and all persons desir-
ing to be heard were given an oppo:rtuni ty to be heard, and all ma.tters
and things pertaining to said modifications were fully heard and cons1d~red by this Coun.::11;
NOW, 'l'HERE.f<'ORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED, as follows:
l. Any and all objections and protests made pursuant to sa1d
Rcsolqtion of Intention to Modify Preliminary Proceedings are here-
by overruled and denied.
2. The pub lie convenience and nacessi ty req1..:.ire said mod1f1-
ca ti one 1r. the work and proceedings under Rt)3olut1on No. 2186 of
Preliminary Determination and said modifications shall be m.'.:!de and
had, all a.a more particularly desc!'1be<1 and set forth in the cforesaid Resol~tion No. 2214.
3. Said proceedings are further mod1f1ed to delete the
construction of crushed rock base pavement and aephaltic concrete
wearing surface between gutter lips on Bryant Street from Forest
Avenue to Embarcndero Road.
