ORDERING CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS

ACQUISITION AND IMPRO'IEMEJ.,'T
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto, Cal1forn1a, that
WHEREAS, on March 10, 1952, this Council adopted its
Resolution No. 2251 or Preliminary Determ1nat1on and of Intention t~ ¥ake Changes and Mod1f1cat1one,Where1n 1t did preliminarily
determine that the public interest, convenience and necessity
require, and that it intends to order certain changes and mod-
1f1cat1one, therein particularly deacr1be1, in the work to be
done and proceedings being conducted under Resolution No. 2185
of Preliminary Determination, adopted November 26, 1951, and
Resolution No. 2223 of Intention, adopted February 11, 1952; and
WHEREAS, purauant to said Resolution No. 2251, notice has
been duly given or the time and place when and where said
Council w111 consider and finally determine whether the public
interest, convenience and necessity require 'aid changes, and
when and where 1t will consider and t1nally act upon the matter
of making said changes and mod1f1cat1ons and when and where it will hear all protests in relation thereto; and
WHEREAS, no written objections to the undertaking or
said proceedings without first complying with the provisions f of said Investigation Act have been filed with the City Clerk at
l or before the time fixed for this hearing by persons 1ntereeted,
! _ owning or having an interest in real property within the proposed
assessment district, bearing their signat1).re, a description of
their property, and a statement of the nature or their interest therein; and ·

WHEREAS, all p&rsons interested have beitm given an
opportunity to be and were fully heard, and said Council has duly
considered any and all object!ons and PI'otesta made, and the said
proposed improvements, and the public convenience and necessity for making same.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOU'ND, DETERMINED and ORDERED, as follow~:
1. The public convenience and necessity require the
improvements described 1n said Resolution No. 2251 of P:t•el1minary
Determination and of Intention to make Changes and Mod!ficat1one.
2. An:v :ind all objections and protests made pursuant to
the said Resolution are hereby overruled and denied.
3. The work and proceedings under Resolution Ne. 2185 or Preliminary Determination and Resolution No. 2223 or Intention
are hereby modified to include the il""'lrovementa and mod1f1cat1ons
described 1.n said Resolution No. 225i or Prel1m1na.ry Determ1Tiat1on
and of Intention to make changes and Modifications, and th(·
Special Assessment Investigat1oT'l, Li1T1itat:l.on and Majority Pr•.,teat
Act or 1931 shall not apply to said proceedings.
