CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT

RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto that
VH!REAS, said Council did on the 25th day or February, 1952,
order the City Engineer to make and file with said Council an
4mended asseesment or the parcel or property the former assessment
upon which under Resolution of Intention No. 1990 or &aid Colmc11
1s designated upon the original assessment and diagram and confirmed
by aa.id Council on September 11,, 1950,, and recorded 1n the office or the Superintendent or Streets or ea1d City, as diagram and
assessment No. 760;
WHERL\S. said City Engineer did on the 26th day of February,
1952, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk or said City a
diagram and amended assessment;
wrm&BA.S, said Council fixed Monday, the 10th day of .Mareh,
1952, as the time for hearing said amended assessment and caused
notice of said hearing to be published twice 1n the Palo Alto Timee,
as appears from the affidavit or publication on file in the office
of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing, no
proteets or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, !l.nd all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERRO that said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk or said City pursuant to resolution ordering
same be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTH.KR ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer,, together with
a certified copy or this resolution thereto attachedl' and said City
Engineer shall thereupon record such amended aseeeoment with a
certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City that it is
the amen.ded assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in said
original diagram and asaeesment No. 760 that it hae been displaced
by said amended assessment, giving the date,, and shall credit uporJ
such amended assessment all payments theretofore made upon the
original asseeement. When said amended aaeeesment has been recorded,
the City Engineer shall cause the or1g1n41 aseesement involved to be caneelle-d.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City or Palo A!to at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 10th day or March, 1952, py
