RESOLVED, by the Council or the City of Palo Alto, Callfor-n1a, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 2221
adopted by this Council on Februax-y 11, 1952, this Council did
on February 25, 1952, adopt 1ta Resolution No. 2235 ordering
acqu1s1t1on of easements;
WHEREAS, said Resolution or Intention and said proceedings
were had and taken pursuant to Article V or Ordinance No. 84A
of said City commonly designated the Palo Alto Improvement Pro-
cedure Code, adopted January 13, 1941;
NOW, THER&~ORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED AND ORDERED, as follows:
1. The public interest and necessity require the acqu1s1-
t1ona, construction and completion, by said City of the public
improvements described in said Resolution of Intention and in the
proceedings relating thereto, and the easements and property ·· f
proposed to be acquired described therein are necessary therefor. _J
2. The public interest and necessity require the taking or immediate possession 1n connection with the eminent domain proceedings.
3. The public necessity requires aaid acquisitions and im-
provements; said proposed acqu1s1 tions and 1.mpi~ovements are
planned and located in the manner which will be most compatible
with the greatest public good and the least private in~)ury, and
all or aa1d acquisitions are located within the territorial
limits or the City of Palo Alto.
4. The City Attorney and the law firm of Messrs. Kirkbride,
Wilson, Harzfeld & Wallace 1 employed for that purpose, are
hereby directed to institute and conduct to conclusion an action
1n em:1.nent domain for the acquis1 t1ons of sa1d easements, to
undertake the necessary action to obtain j.mmed1ate poaseaeion
thereof, and to take such act1aias 1s necessary therein.
5. Rere~~nce is hereby made to said Reaolut1on ~f Intention
and related proceedings for a particular description of said
proposed acquisitions and improvements, on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of resolu-
tion adopted by the Cj,ty Council of the City of Palo Alto, Calif-
ornia, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 25th day of
February, 1952, by the following vote of the members thereof:
