I RT AL ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT RESOLVED, by the C()uncil or the City of Palo Alto, California, WHEREAS, the Council d1d on the 11th day or February, 1952, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 2221 to order certain ac- qu1s1t1ons and improvements to be made in said City, under and pur- suant to Article V or Ordinance No. 8~4 of said City, adopted January 13, 1941,&r.titled "Palo Alto Improvement Procedure Code", and to issue bonds pursuant to Part 4, Bond Plan C of Article rv or said Ordinance No. 8~4, reference to which resolution 1s hereby made for a particular description of the acquisitions and improve- ments to be made, the boundaries 01· the assessment district and the bonds to be issued; WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention No. 2221 has been duly published twice 1n the Palo Alto Times, a newspaper of general cir- culation printed and published 1nsa1d City, wherein all persona 1ntereeted, having any objections to the proposed acquisition and improvements, or against the district to be assessed ror the coats and expenses thereof, or the Engineer's estimate of the coats and expense5 thereof, or against the grades at which said work shall be done, or against the diagram or assessment, were notified or the time and place or the hearing as contained in said Resolution of Intention; said Resolution of Intention was duly published within the time and in the manner provided in sa1.d Improvement Procedure Code, and as directed by said Resolution or Intention, as appears from the atf1dav1t of publica.tion on file 1n the office of the City Clerk of said City; WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing ~~~­ protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed ac- qu1a1 t1ons and improvements, or to the district to be assessed, or to the grades at which said work was to be done, or to the'bonds to be issued to pay the costs and expenses thereof, or to the Engineer's estimate of the costs and expenses thereof, or against the diagram or assessment, and all persons interested desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard, and all matters and things pertaining to said proposed acqu1a1t1ons and improve- ments were duly heard and considered by said Council, and were overruled, and said Council has acquired jurisdiction to order said acqu1sit1ona and improvements and tc confirm said assessment to pay the coste and expenses thereof j ., NOW, THEREFORE, said Council does hereby FIND, DB'TKRMINE and ORDEn, as follows: l. The Engineer's estimate of the itemized and total estimated cost and expenses for said acquisitions 1s hereby finally adopted and approved as the Engineer's total and detailed estimate of the costs and expenses of ea1d acquisitions. 2. 1'hat the maps and descriptions of the lands and easements to be acquired be, and they are hereby, finally adopted and approved. 3.
