ACQUISITION AND IMPROVBMENT 299 RESOLVED, by the Council or the City of Palo Alto, California, that WHEREAS, ea1d Council did on the 11th day of February, 1952, adopt ita Resolution of Intention No. 2221 to order acQu1ait1ons and improvements therein described; and did therein fix the time and place when and where said Council would hear any and all ' persons interested therein; WHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City duly gave notice of the time and place of said hearing, in the time, form and manner provided by law; WHEREAS, this is the time and place fixed in said Resolution when and where said Council will hear said protests and objections; WHERBAS, written and oral protests and objections against the proposed acquisitions and improvements have been filed with the City Clerk or said City at or before or made at the time set ror'eaid hearing by persons interested or who are owners ot property which ia subject to assessment in said proceedings; llHBRRAS, said Council has duly heard and considered each and all of said protests and objections and each and all persons desiring to be heard in cQnnect1on with said matter was and were give~ an opportunity to and did present their said protests and objections, and said matters were fully presented, heard and considered by said Council; and VHEREA8, it appears, and said Council so finds, that said protests so filed were not filed by the owners of more than one- half or the area or the property to be assessed for eaid acQu1si- t1on and improvements. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED and ORDERED that said protests and objections be,. and they ~nd each and all of them are hereby, overruled and denied. * * * * * * * I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy or resolution adopted by the Council or the City or Palo Alto, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 25th day of February, 1952, by the following vote or the members thereof: AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: Blois, Bowden, Cathcart, Drysdale, Gaspar, Hill, Miller, Mitchell, Montrouil, Simpson. NOES, Councilmen: None. ABSENT, Councilmen: Bishop, Bower, Marshall, Wickett. NOT VOTING: Councilmen: Cashel. Alto ..
