RESOLVBD, by the Council or the City or Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, said Council did on the 28th da7 or January, 1952,
order the City Engineer to make and. rile with aa1d Council an
amended asseeament ot the parcels or propert1 the tormer assessment
upon which under Resolution ot Intention No. 2004 ot said Council
18 designated upon the original aaaesnment and diagram and confiraed
by sa1d Council on June 11, 1951, and recorded 1n the orr1ce or
the Superintendent or Streets of' said City, as diagram and assessment
numbers 623 and 955-B;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 29th day of January,
1952, pursuant to said ord.er, tile with the Clerk of said City a
diagram and amen.ded aaeeesment;
WHEREAS, eaid Council fixed Monday, the llth day or February1 1952, am the t1me for hearing said amended assessment and cau~ed
notice or said hearing to be published twice in the Palo Alto Times,
ae appears from the affidavit of publication on r11e in the office or the Clerk or said City; and
lfHBREAS, at the time and place fixed tor ~aid hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to aai.d
amended aseesament were fully heard and considered by ea1d Council;
NOW 1 THXREPORE, IT IS ORDERED tha:t said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to Resolution ordering
sa~, be and the same is hereby rat1t1ed, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver said amended aasesament ;;o the City Engineer~ together with
a certified copy or thia resolution thereto attached., and said City
Engineer eha.11 thereupon record zruch amended aeaessment w1 th a
cert1f1ca·te at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City that 1t is
the amended assessment approved by the City Coune11.
The City lbg1neer shall note opposite the assessment in said
original diagram and aasessment·Number~ 623 and 955-B that they
have been displaced by said amended assessment, giving the date, and
shall credit upon such amended asaeaament, all pa:yments theretofore
made upon the ~r1g1nal assessment. When said amended aesessment ha.a
been reeord.ed, the City Engineer shall cause the original assessment
involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council or the City of Palo Alto at a
regular meeting thereof held on the llth day or 1ebruary, 1952, by
the following vote:
