RESOLVED,, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto that
VHRRBAS, said Council did on the lJi.th day or January, 1952,
order the City Ertg1neer to make and t1le with aa1d Council an
amendod asaesement or the parcel or property the roraer asseeament
upon which under Resolution or Intention No. 1990 ot a&1d Council
1a designated upon the original aaseas .. nt and diagram and oont1rmed
by said Council on September 11, 1950,, a.nd "recorded 1n the o:f't1ce
or the Sup•r.!.ntendent or Streets ot said C1t7, aa diagram and
ameeesment Noe. 993-A and 993-B;
VHKREAS, said City Engineer did on the 213t day or Januar;r,
1952, pursuant to sa1d order, tile with the Clerk or said City a
diagram and amended assessment;
WHERBAS, aa1d Council fixed Monday, the llth day ot 1ebruary,
1952, as the ~1me tor hearing said amended aeseaement and caused
. notice or ea1d hearing to be published twice in the Palo Alto Times~
au appears trom the atf'idavit or pt.lblicaticn on tile in the ot'tice
ot the Clerk or said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed tor said hearing, no
protests or objections were made or preeented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended aaaeaement were fully heard and considered by ea1d Council;
NOW, TK!REPORE,, IT IS ORDERKD that said amended aeaessment
filed w1 th the Clerk of said City p1.ll'suant to Resolution ordering
S&!Bf!, be and the aame is hereby rat1t1ed, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk or aa1d City shall
deliver ea1d amended assessment to the City Engineer, together With
a certified cop1 or this resolution thereto attached, and said City
Engineer shall thereupon record euch amended ameessment with a
certificate at the end thereof by 'the Clerk of ea1d City, that it 1,s
the amended ass~nsment approved by the Cit~ Council.
. The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in aa1d
original d1!i.gram and assessment Noa. 993-A and 993-B that theylave
been dieplActtd by aa1d amended assessment, g1v1ng the date, and shall
crt"ld.it upon euch amended amsesament, all payments theretofore made
upon the original assessment. When said amended asaeeament has been
recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby. certify that the torego1ng resolution wae duly and
regul&rl7 adopted by the City Council or the City or Palo Alto at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 11th day or February, 1952, by the following vote:
