RESOLVED, by the Cou~Cil or the City or Palo Alto that
WHKRIAS, said Council did on the 28th day ot January, 1952, cirder the C1t7 Engineer to make and tile with aa1d Council an
&•ended assessment or the parcel ot propert7 the tor.er aaaeaament
upon which under Resolution ot Intention No. 1833 ot said Council
1s designated upon the original aaaea1ment and diagram and confirmed
bJ said Council on April 12, 19-9, and recorded in the ort1ce or the
Superintendent of Streets of said City, as diagram and aaaes&llM!nt No. 396;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 28th day or Janu.ar:r,
1952, pureuant to said order, tile with the Clerk or aa1d City a diagram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, said Council t1xed Monday, the 11th day of February,
1952, an the time tor hearing said amended assessment and caused
notice of aa!d hearing to be published twice in the Pal~Alto Times,
as appears rrom the~fidav1t or publ1oat1on on file 1n the office or the Clerk or ea1d City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place f1x«d ror said hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed amended
assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said amended
assessment were fully heard an~ considered by said Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERBD that said amended assessment filed
with the Clerk or said City puraua~t to Resolution ordering name,
be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk or said C1ty &hall
deliver said amended aaaeaament to the City Engineer, together with
a cert1r1ed oop7 of th1s resolution thereto attached, and said City
Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment with a
certitioate at the end thereof by the Clerk or said City that it is
the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note oppoeite the assessment in said
original diagram and assessment number 396 that 1t has been displaced
by said amen•ed assessment, giving the date, and shall ared1t upon
such amended assessment all payments theretorore made upon the
original aseeaament. When ea1d amended assessment has been recorded,
the City Engineer shall cause the original assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby cert1ty that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularl7 adopted by the City Council ot the City or Palo Alto at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 11th day ot February, 1952,
by the tollow1ng vote:
