CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT

R~OL'\TED,, by the' Council ot the City of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, ea.id Council d1d on the 28th day of January, 1952,
order the City Engineer to make and tile with said Council an amended aaseasment or the parcel or property the former aaaese-
ment upon which under Reaolut1on of Intention No. 1620 or said
Council 11 designated upon tho original assessment and diagram and confirmed by said Council on January 12, l9.fl8, and recorded
1n the ottioe or the Supor1ntendent or Streets of said City, as
diagram and aaaesament No. 32;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 29th da:y ot Jauuary,
1952. pursuant to aa1d order, file with the Clerk or aaid City a
diagram and amended aasessment1

WHEREAS, sa1d Council fixed Monday, the 11th day of February,
1952, as the time for hearing aa1d amended aaaesament and caused
notice or said hearing to be published twice in the Palo Alto TimesJ
as appears from the atf1dav1t ot publications on file in the ort1ce
or the Clerk of Baid City; and
WHERBAS, at the time and place r1xed ror said hearing, no
proteeta or objections we~e made or presented to the proposed amended
aaeesament, and all matters and things pertaining to said amended
assessment were fully heard and considered by said Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment,
filed with the Clerk or said City pursuant to Resolution ordering
same, be and the same 1e hereb7 ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk or said City shall
deli ve1: .. -•a1d amended ·assessment to the City Engineer, together with
a cert!tied copy or this resolution thereto attached., and aa1d City
Engineer shall thereupon record auoh amended asseeement With a
cert1r1ca te at the end thereot by the Clerk or aa1d 01 ty ths. t 1. t 1s
the amended aseeesment approved by the City Council.
The C~ty Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in said
original diagram and asaeaament No. 32 ~hat it has been displaced
by said amended assessment, g1v1ng the date, and shall credit upon
such amended assessment all payments theretofore made upon the
original aaaessment. When oa1d amended aaaeaament has been recorded,
the City Engineer ahall cause the original aaaeaament involved to be
cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council or the City or Palo Alto at a
regular meeting thereo~ held on the 11th da7 or Pebruary, 1952, by
the following vote:
AYES: Bishop, Blois, Bowden, Bower~ Cashel, Cathcart, Gaspar,
Hill, Marshall, Miller, Mitchell, Montrouil, Simpson.
NOBS: None.
ABSENT: Drysdale, Wickett.
