DIRECTING MAKING OP AME:NDSD ASSESSMENT
RE USESSMKNT NO. 396
ORBGON AVENUE, ET AL, PROJECT NO. 48-1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto, Santa Clara County, California, that
WHEREAS, an·asseesment and diagram was mJ!lde and filed w1th
the Clerk of sa1d City all pursuant to Resolution or Intention No.
1833 adopted by the City Council on March 28, 1949, and the pro-
Vi8ions Of Article V of the Palo Alto Improvement Procedure Code, ~eing Ordinance No. 844 of said City, adopted January 13, 1941, and
said. aseesament was confirmed. by said Council on April 12, 1949,
and recorded in the office or the Superintendent or Streets or said on May 25, 1949; and
WHEREAS, a certain lot or parcel of land upon which there
1s an unpaid assessment against which bonds have been issued under
the provisions or Part 4 of Article rv of said Procedure Code, has
been divided so that it no longer conforms to the original parcel
boundar1er aa shown on ~aid assessment and in the Auditor's record thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that
1. The City Engineer ohall cause to be prepared and filed
with the City Clerk a report and amended assessment and diagram
of the lot and parcel so divided, said parcel being designated as Assessment No. 396.
2. That the unpaid installments of said original assess-ment shall be segregated and appn~tior.ed in accordance with the
benefits to the several parts or the original lot or parcel and
the total amount of the assessment or the several port1one of
the original lot or parcel shall be equal to the unpaid assessments
upon said original lot or parcel of land.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council or the City of Palo Alto,
California, at a meeting thereof held on the 28th day of January, 1952, by the following vote:
AYES, and 1n favor thereof, Councilmen:
Bis~op, Blois, Bowden, Bower, Cashel, Cathcart, Drysdale,
Gaspar, Hill, Marshall, Miller, Mitchell,, Montrou11,, Simpson, Wickett.
NOES, Councilmen: None.
ABSENT, Councilmen: None.
