RESOLUTION OVERRULING OBJECTIONS A.ND ORDERING
WEED NUISANCE ABATKD.
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto#
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2207 of
this Council ordering same, notice has been duly given that
this 1s the time and place set for the hearing of objections
to the proposed destruction or removal or weeds; and
WHEREAS, persons interested appeared, and all per-
sons interested desiring to be heard were given an opportunity
to be heard, and all matters pertaining to said destruction or
removal of weeds were fully heard and considered by this
Council and overruled;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the Superintendent
of Pul:.:lic Works shall abate auoh public nuisance of weeds as
declared in the Resolution No. 2207 by having said weeds
destroyed or removed, and any property owner shall have the
right to destroy or re:nove such weeds himself., or have the same
destroyed or removed at his own expense, provided that such
weeds shall have been removed pr1o~ to the arrival of the
Superintendent of Public Works, or his authorized representa-
tives, to remove them.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council
of the City or Palo AltoJ California, at a meeting thereof
held on the 28th day or J'anuary, 1952, by the following vote:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:

Gaspar, Hill, Marshall, Miller, Mitchell, Montreuil, Simpson, Wickett.
