DIRECTING MAKINO OF AMENDED ASSESSMENT
RE ASSESSMENTS NO. 993-A & 993-B
STREET LIGHTING RECONSTRUCTION, DISTRICT ONE, PROJECT NO. 50-1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto, Santa Clara County, California, that
WHERE.AS, an assessment and diagram was made and f11ed with
the Clerk of said City all pursuant to Resolution of Intention
No. 1990, adopted by the City Council on June 12, 1950, and the
provisions of Article V of the Palo Alto Improvement Procedure
Code, being Ordinance No. 844 or sa1d City, adopted January 13,
1941, and said assessment wan confirmed by said Council on September
11, 1950, and recorded in the office of the Superintendent of Streets
or said City on October 11, 1950; and
'WHEREAS, a cer·ta1n lot or parcel or land upon which there
is an unpaid assessment aga1nat which bonds have been issued under
the provisions of Part 4, of Article IV, of said Procedure Code
has been divided so that 1t no longer conforms to the original
parcel boundaries as shown on said assessment and in the Aud1tor1 s record thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that
1. The City Engineer shall cause to be prepared and filed
with the City Clerk, a report and amended assessment and diagram
01· the lot and parcel eo divided, sa1d parcel being de81gnated as
Assessment No. 993-A and 993-B.
2. That the unpaid inatallments or said original assessment
shall be segregated and apportioned in accordance with the benefits
to the several parts of the original lot or parcel and the total
amount of the assessment of the several portions of the original
lot or parcel shall be equal to the unpa.1d assessments upon said
original lot or parcel of land.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolut.ion was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City cf Palo Alto,
California, at a meeting thereof, held on the 14th day of January,
1952 .. by the following vote:
AYES, Rnd in fnvor of.: Councilmen
Bishop, Blois, Cashel, Cathcart, Drysdale, Gaspar, Hill,
Marshall, Miller, M1tchell, Montreuil, Simpson.
NOES, Councilmen: None
