RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, aa1d City Council d1d on the 10th day of December,
1951, order the City Engineer to make and tile with said Council an
amended assessment of the parcel of property the former assessment
upon which under Resolution of Intention No. 2094 or aa1d Council
1s designated upon the or1g1r1al asaesement and diagram and confirmed
by said Council on June 11, 1951, and recorded in the office or the
Superintendent or Streets or said City, as diagram and assessment
number 1251.;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer d1d on the 13th day or
December~ 1951, pursuant to said order, file w1th the Clerk of
said City a diagram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, sa1.d Council fixed Monday, the ll.1-th day or January,,
1952, as the time for hearing said amended assessment and caused
notice of sa1d hearing to be published twice in the Palo Alto Times,
as appears from the affidavit or publication on file in the office
or the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk or said City pursuant to Resolution ordering
same, be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERKD, that the Clerk of sa1d City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a cert1r1ed copy or this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment
with ·· .. certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that 1t is the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the several assessments
in said original diagram and assessment number 1251 that it has been
displaced by aa1d amended aseeesment, giving the date, and shall
credit upon such amended assessment all payments theretofore made upon
the original assesnrnent, When said amended assessment has been
recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original assessment
involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing reoolut1on was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 14th day or January, 1952, by
the following vote:
