ACQUISITION RF.SOLVED, by the Council or the City of Palo Alto, Ca11rorn1a, WHEREAS, on November 26, 1951, this Council adopted its Resolu- tion No. 218..,2 of Preliminary Determination and or Intention to Make Changes and Modifications wherein it did preliminarily deter- mine that the public interest, convenience and necessity require and that 1 t 1ntenda to order certain changes and. mod11·1ca t1ons therein particula.r'.,i.y described, in the acquiflit1ons to be made and proceedings being conducted under Resolution No. 1718 of Pre- liminary Determination and Resolution No. 1738 of Intention, adopted July 12, 1948, and August 9, 1948, respect1velY.i and WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution No. 2189, not1ce has been duly given of the time and place when and where said Council will consider and finally determine whether the public interest, con- venience and nect-as1 ty req1.<ire said changes, and when and where 1t will consider and finally act upon the matter of making said changes and modifi~at1ons and when and where it will hear all protests 1n relation thereto; and WHEREAS, no peraons interested appeared or filed written protests against said pr~ceed1nga or any part thereof and all per- sons dea1r1ng to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard, and all matters and things pertaining to said changes and mod1f1ca- t1ona were fully heard and considered by this Council ------~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~-; NOW, TH~'REFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED AND ORDERlID, that the public interest, convenience and necessity require said changes and modifications in the acquis1tiorrn and proceedings under Resolu- tion No. 1718 or Preliminary Determination and Resolution No. 1738 of Intention and said changes and mod1f1c&t1ons shall be made and had, all as more particularly described and set forth in the afore- said Resolution No. 2189. • * * * * * * I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy or resolu- tion adopted by the Council or the City of Palo Alto, Californ1a, at a regular meeting thereof duly held on the 10th day of December, 1951, by the following vote: AYES, and 1n favor thereof, Councilmen: Blois, Bowden, Bower, Cashel, Gaspar, Bill, Marshall, Miller, Mitchell, Montrou11, Simpson, Wickett.
