RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City or Palo Alto that
WHBRKAS, said City Council did on the 22nd of October, 1951,
order the City Engineer to make and t1le with said Council an
amended assessment or the parcel of property the former assessment
upon which under Resolution ot Intention No. 1721 or said Council
1s designated upon the original assessment and diagram and confirmed
by said Council on March 13, 1950, and recorded 1n the ott1ce of the
Superintendent ~r Streets of said City, as diagram and assessment number 52;
WHBRBA.S, said City Engineer did on the 30th day or Octobe~, 1951, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk or said City a diagram and amended assessment;
WHIR.BAS, aaid Council fixed .Monday, the 13th day or November,
1951, aa the time for hearing aaid amended asaessment and caused
notice or said hearing to be publ1ahed twice in the Palo Alto Times,
as appears from the affidavit of publication on file in the office or the Clerk or said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed ror said hearing, no
proteats or objections were made or pre8ented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully heard and coneide~ed by said Council;
NOV, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment filed with the Clerk of said City pu~suant to Resolution ordering
same, be and the same 1B hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORD!RED, that the Clerk Of said City shall
deliver ae.id amended assessment to the City Bng1ne~r, together
with a certified copy or th1a resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk or said City
that it is the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the several assessments in said original assessment No. 52, that 1t has been displaced by
sa1.d amended assessment, giving the date, and shall credit upon
such ~mended assessment all payments theretofore made upon the
original assessment. When said amended assessment has been
recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the rorego1ng resolution. was duly
and regularly adopted by the Council of the City of Palo Alto at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 13th day or November, 1951, by the following vote:
AYKS: Bishop, Bowden~ Cashel, -Cathcart, Drysdale, Gaspar, Hill,
Marshall, Miller, Mitchell, Montrouil, Simpson, Wickett.
