The Council or the city or Palo Alto DO'P3 RRSOLVIC as follows: l1 i ~
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Palo Alto, pursuant to
call therefor, hae received bids ror the sale or City of Palo Alto
Mun1c1pal Improvement Bonds or 1951, Series "A", which bonds are
to be dated November 1, 1951, and eha.11 consist or 80 bond8 ot
the d~mom1nat1on or $1,000.00 each; $4,000.00 pr1nt1pal an1ount
or said bonds ahall be payable on the lat day of November, or
each or the years )"..,.? tci 1956 both inclusive, bearing interest
at the rate of 3t e-··::. payable semi-annually; $4 ,000.00

WHEREAS, the Counc.11 did at its meeting on November 13,
1951, declare p~~11cly all proposals or bids received for said bonds; and

WHEREAS, this Council does find that the bid or
the American Trust Company, Weeden & Company, Kaiser & Company
and Lawson, Levy & Williams for the par value of said bonds
pluB accrued interest, and a premj.um of $25.00,is the beat bid offered :for said bond~.

NOW, THRREFORE, this Council does hereby order that said
City of Palo Alto Municipal Impro\.·e11ent Bonds or 1951, Seriee "A", be and
~hey are hereby sold to the American Trust Company, Weeden & Company,
Ka1eer & Company, and Lawson, Levy & Williams, for the sum or $80,025.001 in accordance with their bid.
Upon the payment of said money into the treasury or the
City or Palo Alto, the City Treasurer is hereby authorized to
deliver said bonds, properly executed as directed by ordinance
of this Council to the American Trust Company, Weeden & Company,
Kaiser & Company, and Lawson, Levy & Williams.
The above and foregoing resolution -waa duly and regularly
passed at a regular meeting or the Council of the City of
Palo Al to held on Tuesday, the 13th day of November, 1951., by the following vote:
