R~OLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF SECURITIES
The Council of the City of Palo Alto DOES RESOLVE as follows:
That the City Treasurer be and he ie hereby authorized
to p~rchase $500,000.00 of U. s. Treasury Cert1f1catea of
Indebtedness, 1 7/8%, due September 1, 1952, at market, and hold the same in l1eu of cash.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced a.nd pasaed by the Council or the City
of Palo Alto at a regular meeting held on Monday, the 8th
day of October, 1951, by the following vote:
