WHEREAS.• said Council fixed Monday, the 8th day of October·,

notice o~ 8a1d hcnrin3 to be p~blished twice 1n the Palo Alto Times,
as appears from the affidavit of publication on file ln the office
or the Clerk or snid City; and
WEEREAS, at the time und pl.'lce fixed for 38.:1.d henr1ng, no
protests or objections )~re made or presented to the proposed amended
~saessments, and all matters and things pertaining to said amended
aeses~ments were fully heard and ccnAidered by said Council;

filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to Resolution ordering
same, be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and con~1rmed.
IT IS i•''LJRTHEH OHDERED .. that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver SJ.id amendea <1ssessrr.ent to the City En~1neer, together
with n certified copy or thls resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record s~ch a~ended ae~essment
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
th~t it ls the amended assessment approved by the City CoJncil.
The City Engineer shDll note opposite the several aoses~ments
in said oricin3l dlasram and assessment numbers 667, 668, 669 and 670,
that they have been displaced by said amended assessment, giving the
date, nnd shall credit upon s~ch amended assessment all payments
theretofore made upon the original assessment. When 3aid amended
asses::.nnent has been recorded, the City Engineer shall cai,:se tr.e
original assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that tl:e foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto
at a reg~lar meeting thereof held on the 8th day of October, 1951,
by the follow!ng vote:
