RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto that
WHER;~AS, so.id City Council did on the 24th day of September,
1951, order the Cit;/ Engineer to make o.nd 1'1 le w:!. th said Counc11
an amended assessment of the parcel of property the former assess-
ment upon which under Resolution of Intention No. 1620 of said
Council is designated upon the original assessment and diagram
and confirmed by said Council on January 13, 1948, and recorded
in the office ot the Superintendent of Streets of said City, as
diagram and asse9sment number 103;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 25th day of
September, 1951, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk o: said City a diagram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, said Council flxed Monday, the 8th dny of' Octoler,
1951, as the time for hearing said amended assessment and cauned
notice of said hearing to be published twice in the Palo Alto
Times, ao appears from the affidavit of publication on file ln
the office of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the tlme and place fixed for said hearing, no
protest:.'! or ob.)ections were made or presented to the proposed
amended asGessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said City
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that said amended
assessment filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to resolu-
tion ordering same,ba and the same is hereby ratified, approved
and confirmed.
IT IS ?IJRTHER ORDERED, that the Clerl-:-of said Cl ty sha 11
deliver sald 3mended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer ::>hall thereupon record such amended aseessment
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that it is the a~ended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in
said original diagram and assessment number 103 that it has been
d:1splaced by said amended .'.\ssessment, giving the date, and shall
credit upon such amended assessment all payments theretofore
made upon the original assessment. When said amended assessment
has beeri rt~cordcd ·' the City Engineer shall cat;.Gc the or1gin2.l
assessment involved to be canc~lled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resol~t1on was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto
