that RESOLVED, by the Council of the Cityof Palo Alto, Californla,
WHEREAS, szid Council, 1n response to notice duly given pur-
suant to Resolution or Intention No. 2094 adopted April 9p 1951,
and 1 ts resolution calling for bide on sale of bonds pursuant ther·~
to, adopted on August 27, 1951;
WHEREAS, this is the time and place fixed therein for receiv-
ing bid for the pur~haae of sa.1d bonds, and aaid bids have been
received and publicly opened, examined and declared by thls Council;
NOW, THEREFORE,, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
l. That all written bids received for the purchase or said
bonds, excepting the bid herein stated, be, and they are hereby,
r·e Jected, and toot sa1d bonds be, and they are hereby, ordered sold
to A. G. Becker & Company, Inc., as the highest responsible bidder
therefor,• with interest to the date or deli very of said bonds, said
sale to be subject to all of the tex•ms and cond1 tions set forth
1n said resolution calling for sealed pro?osals and in said ~cccpted bid.
2. That the C1ty Clerk of said City be, and she is hereby,
directed to have said bonds printed forthwith, and that the same be
immediately signed and sealed and delivered to said bidder on
receipt of the amount therefor as above stated, with interest, but
not otherwise, and upon the performance of the conditions contained
1n said written offer.
3. That the interest rate or said bonds be, and the same is
hereby, fixed at the rate stated in said bid.

I hereby cert1fytthe foregoing to be a true copy of resolution
adopted by the City Council or the City of Palo Alto, California,
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 24th day of September, 1951,
by the following vote or the members thereof:
AYFS, and 1n favor thereof, Councilmen:
Blois, Bowden, Bower, Cashel, Cathcart, Drysdale, Gaspar,
Hill, Marshall, Miller, Mitchell, Simpson.
NOES, Councilmen: None.
ABSENT, Councilmen: Bishop, Montrou11, Wickett.
