RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Palo Alto that: WHEREAS, all notices having been published and posted in accordance with Ordinance No. 1313 and Article 32.A or Codified Ordinance No. 5; and 179 WHEREAS, written a.nd oral protests and ob,)ections ago.inst said assessment were presented before or at the time fixed for said hearing; and WHEREAS.• said Counc.11 has duly heard and considered each and all of said protests and objections, and each and .:ill persons desiring to be heard ln connection with said matter was and were given an opportunity to and did present their pro- tests and objection3, and aa1d matters were fully presented, heard and considered by said Council; and WHEREAS, it appears and such Council so finds that all protests, with the exception 0f those made by P. A. Nielsen, should not be allowed. NOW .• THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, FOUND AND DETERMINED as follows: l. That said assessment list shall be amended by the Superintendent of Public Works, in that the assessments against P. A. NJJisen shall be amended as follows: NO. 10321-24 No. 10326 A No. 10326 B No. 10326 C No. 10327 No. 10328 $3.47 11.80 3.82 3.47 3.47 4.27 2. That sald amended assessment list is in all respects complete and correct, and is hereby confirmed, and that since the filing thereof no assessments have been paid, 3. That for a particular description of the lots bearing the respective assessment number set forth ln said amended asnessment list and upon which assessments remain un- p~ld, severally and respectively, reference is hereby made to said amended assessment list in the office of the said Super- intendent of Public Works ~fter confirmation by sa1d Council. 4. Th~t the unpaid assessments as shown on said amended list and determir.ed by sa1d Council shall constitute a spec1n1 n~sessmen~ against such respective lots or parcels of land shm .. n t:tereir1, shall constitute a lien against such property for the amount of sc:.ch aasessments until p31d. 'l'he Assessor shall extend and enter the amounts of such assess- ments against the respective parcels of land upon the 1951-52 tax ro1 l .• upon which general mun1c1pul taxes are to be collected and shall be payable with the first installments of said taxes and the City Tax Collector shall include the same on the bills 180 for such taxes. Thereafter such amounts shall be collected at the same time and 1n the same manner as general city taxes are col1ected, and shall be subject to the same interest nnd penalties, and the same procedure and aale in case of delinquency.
