RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE
CITY OF PALO ALTO ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING
MEMORAKDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF
GAS TAX ALLOCATION F'OR MAJOR CITY S'I'REETS.
WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement r.aa been presented
to be entered lr.to w1th the State of California !n accord-
ance wl th a project statement ::rnbml tted by the City of
Palo Alto fo!' expendJ.ture of the gas· tax alloeatlon to cities
for the flscal year 1952, and
WHEREAS, the city council ha3 heard read said agree-
ment ln fi.111 and ls familiar wlth the contents thereo'fi
THEREFORE 1 be .tt resolved by the city CO'Jnc:tl of the
Clty of Palo Alto that sa:ld pro,ject statement be and it ls
hereby adopted as the b1:dget of proposed expenditures of the
gas tax allocation to cit~es, and said agreement be and the same
is hereby approved and the Mayor and the ci.ty clerk are directed
to sign the same on behalf of said City, said agreement to be
b:l.nd~ng upon the City upon :l.te execution by the authorized officials of
the State.
ADOPTED th~s 13th day of August 1 1951.
