an amended assessment of the parcels of property the former
assesament upon wh.:.ch under Resoh:t: on of Intentlon No. 1516
of saJd Co·:ncl 1 is des~ ~nated 11pon the or~.glnal assessment and
d.l.agram and confirmed by sa'i.d Council on January 13, 1947, and
recorded in the off ice of' tlie Super:tntendent of Streets of sa:d
C!ty, aa diagram and asaessment number 809-A;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer d:ld on the 24th day of Jc1ly,
1951, pursuant to saj.d order, file w1th the Clerk of said Cl ty a diagram and amended assessment;

WHEREAS, said Co:..:.nc.l.1 f i.xed Monday, the 13th day of August,
1951, as the time for hearing sa!d amended assensment and ca~sed not~ce of said hearlng to be published twice ln the Palo Alto
'£Lrnes as appears from the affidavit of p·:bl1cat:~on on f~.le ln the off!ce of the Clerk of sald City; and
WHEREAS, at the t:tme and place r:;.xed for sa_:d hear~ng,
no p:rotests or ob.Ject1ons were made or presented to the proposed
arnended assessment, and all matters and things perta:n:ng to said
amended asse=sment, were fully heard and cons!dered by s3:d City Co·:nc~l;
1'WW, THEREFOHE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
f.i.led w:.th the Clerk of' sa::.d City p•1rs~1ant to Resolution order.1ng
same, be and the same ls hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said C.:.ty shall del~ver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
w.i th a certified copy of this resol 1~tion thereto attached, and s~ld City Engineer shall thereupon record such amer.ded assessment
w1th a certlficate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that ~t ls the amended B3sessment approved by the City Co~nc11.
The City Engineer shall note opposite th~ several assessments ln sa~d or1glnal d:'..agrarn and assessment number 809-A that it has
been d.:.splaced by said amended assessment, g1.vlng the date, and shall
credit upon Sc:ch amended assessment all payments theretofore made
.1pon the orlglnal assessment. When sa.:d amended assessment has
been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the or1ginal assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the forego:ng resolution was duly
and reg~larly adopted by the C1ty Counc11 or the City of Palo Alto
at a regular meetlng thereof held on the 13th day of August, 1951, by the following vote:
