CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT

RFSOLVRD, by the Clty Council or the City of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, said City Council did on the 25th day or J~ne,
1951, order the City Engineer to make and file with said Council
an amended aaseesment of the parcel or property the former
assessment upon which under Resolution of Intention No. 1620. er
said Council is den1gnated upon the original aseessment and
diagram and confirmed by said Council on January 13, 1949, and
recorded in the off ice or the Superintendent of Streets of said City, as diagram and assessment number 60-B;
WHEREAS, said Clty Engineer did on the 9th day or July,
1951, pursuant to said order, f1le with the Clerk or said City a diagram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, said Council flxed Monday, the 23rd day or July,
1951> as the time for hearing said amended assessment and caused
notice of said hear1n~ to be published twice in the Palo Alto
Times, as appears rrom the affidavit or pub11cat1on on flle in
the office of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the t1me and place fixed for said hearing,
no protests or objections were made or presented to the propoeed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HERE.BY ORDERED that said amended
assessment filed with the Cle~k or said City pursuant to resolution
ordering eame, be and the eame is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk or said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
wlth a certified copy or this resolutiontlereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that it is the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall noteoppoe1te the assessment in
said ortg1nal diagram and asseoement number 60-B that it has been
displaced by said amended assessment, giving the date, and shall
credit upon such amended assessment all payments theretofore
made upon the original aesesement. When said amended assessment
has been recorded, the C1ty Engineer ehall cause the original
assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council or the City or Palo Alto
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 23rd day or July, 1951, by the following vote:
AYES: Blois, Bower, Cashel, Cathcart, Drysdale, Gaspar, Hill,
Marshall, Miller, Mitchell, Montrou11, Simpson, Wickett.
