OF P:ftELIMlNARY DETERMINATION AND OF INTENTION TO
Yi.AKE CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
PROJECT NO. 51-5
SAN ANTONIO ANNEX SEWERS
ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto, C~l1forn1a, that it does hereby preliminarily determine that the
public interest.• convenience and necess: ty require, and that 1 t
.1s the intention of said Council to make certain ~hanges and mod1f1-
1::ations in the worl< to be done under Resolution No. 2069 of Pre-
liminary Determination and Resolution No. 2094 of Intentlon adopted
by thls Council on February 13, 1951, and April 9, 1951, respec-·;1vely, to wlt:
1. Increase the total aseesament to $216,925.00 and apportion
nnd distribute sa1d assessment as increased according to benefits.
2. Modlfy the work to be done and th~ plans and spec1f1ca-
t:1.ons therefor to show the construction of house laterals to all
subdJvlded lots and to all lots with buildings constructed thereon
hnvlng contact with the streets or easements 1n which sewer lines are belng constructed.
3. Increase the 1nd1v1dual assessments against each lot pro-
vided with a house lateral by the cost thereof, 1nclua1ve of inci-dental expenses.
4. The Superintendent of Streets shall chnnge and modlfy the
assessment, plans and spec1f1catlons, and estimate or cost to re-
flect the above changes, by ~.lthcr chana:;ing them on their face or
by filing amendments thereto .
5. Modified &ssessment, plans and spec1f1cations, and esti-
rn.9.te of costs are hereby preliminarily approved and ordered flled :n the offlce of the City Clerk.
Monday, the 23rd day of July, 1951, at the hour of 7:30
o'clock P.M. at the Council Chambers, City Hall, Palo Alto, Cali-
fornia, are bereby fixed as the time and place when and where said
C0unc11 w~ll consider and finally determine whether the public
lnterest, convenience and necessity req1..:lre t;a.id changes, and
when and where 1t wlll conalder and finally act upon the matter c·1~ making SQ.~.d changes and mod1f:!catlons and when and where it
wlll hear all protests l.n relation thereto.
The City Clerk shall cause a copy of tr.ls resolut.!.on to be
publ!ahed twice ~n the Palo Alto Times, a newspaper of general
circulat1on publi~hed 1n Daid City, the f~rst or which publ1cat.!.ons
shall be at least ten days before the day set for hearing.
The C.lty Clerk sball also cause a copy of thls resolut::.on
tc be posted on or near the Chamber Door of the City Council at
least ten days prior to said day of hea~ing.
