that REZOLVED, by the Council of the Clty of Palo Alto, California,
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the Clty of Palo Alto did, on
the 6th day of July, 1951, publicly open, examine and declare all
sealed proposals or bids for the work to be done and :!.mprovements
to be made, as descr·1bed and spec1f1ed 1n Resolution of Intention
No. 2093 of said Council adopted April 9, 19Sl, to which resolu-
tion reference is hereby made for a description or said work and
improvements and the materials, supplJes and equipment to be fur-nished therefor;
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reported h!a find.l.ngs to the
Council, which findings have been duly considered by said Council.
NOW,, 'l'HEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, as followe:
1. The Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or blds
except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards the contract
for doing; said work and mak.i.ng satl improvements to the lowost responsible bldder, to wit:
FREEMAN PAVING CO.
at the prices named ln its bld;
2. That the Mayor and Clerk of said City of Palo Alto be, and
they are hereby, authorized to make and enter into a written con-
tract w!th said successful bidder, and to receive and approve all bonds in connection therewith.

r. her-eby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of resolution
adopted by the Council of the City o~ ?alo Alto, California, at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 9t~1 day of July, 1951, by the
following vote of the members thereof:
