HESOLVED, by the Councll of the City of Palo Alto, California.,
WHEREAS, the Council did on the 9th day of April, 1951, adopt
1 t:~ Resolution of Intention No. 2089 to order certain acquis1 tiona
and improvements to be made ir1 said City, under and p'...l.rsuant to
Article V cf Ordlnance No. 84J4 of sa.i.d City, adopted January 13, 19~1, antltled "Palo Alto Improvement Procedure Code", and to
i!::irne bonds pursuant to Part 4, Bond Plan C of Article IV of said
Ord.:.nance No. 844, reference to wh1ch resolution ls hereby made
feir a particular description of thf? acqulsi t1ons and improvements
tc• be made, the bou.ndarJe::i of the assessme:-1t district and the bonds tc be ~seued;
WHE..1'EAS, :Ja1d Resolution of Intention No. 2089 has been duly
published tw.lcc in the Palo Alto Tlmei>, a newspaper o!' general c1r-
cu1a tlon printed and published .ln s.~1d C:l. ty, wherein all persons
interested, having any objections to the proposed acqu1sit1one and
improvements, or against the dlstrict to be assessed for the costs
and. expenses thereof, or to the Engineer's estimate or the ~osts
and expenaei'J th~reof, or agalnst the grades at which said work
shnll be done, or against the diagram or assessment, were notified
of the tlme and place of the hearing as conta:!:ned in said Resolu-
tion of Intention; said Resolution or Intention was duly published
wl thin the time and in the manner p1"ovided in said Improvement Pro-
cedure Code, and as directed by said Resolution of Intention, as
ap?ears from the affidavit of publication on file in the office of the City Clerk or said City;
WHEREAS, at the t1ma and place fixed for said hearing
pr<:itests or obJectlons were made or presented to the propooc""a_a_c __ _
qu1s1t!ons and improvements, or to the dlstrict to be assessed, or
to the t.3rades at which sa:ld work was to be done" or to the bonds
to ~e issued to pay the costs and expenses thereof, or to the
Engineer's estimate of the costs and expenses thereof, or against
the diagram or assessment, and all persons interested des1r1ng
to be heard were glvcn an opportunity to be heard, and all matters
ancl thlngs per ta .~ni ng to sa:ld proposed acquis1 t1ons and improve-
ments were duly heard and considered by said Cou.ncil, and were
0verruled, and said Council has acquired Jur1sdlction to order
the sald acquis~tions and improvements and to c0nflrm said assess-ment to pay the costs and expenses thereof;
NOW, THERE.PORE, said Council does hereby FIND, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:

The Engineer's estimate of the itemized and total estima-
ted co~1t and expenses for said acqulsl tlons ls hereby finally n.dop-J
ted and approved as the Engineer'c total :ind detailed estimate of
the costs and expenses of said acquisitions.
2. That the map3 and descr1pt1ons of the land3 and easements
to be c-.cqu1red be, and they are hereby .• finally adopted and approved.
3. That the public interest and convenience require, and
sa:l.:i Council does hereby order the acquisitions to be made as
descr1bed 1n and ln accordance with sa~d Resolution of Intention,
on file in the office or the City Clerk or said City, reference
to which ls hereby made fO'!':' a more particular descr.tpt1on of said
acquisitions and also for further particulars, pursuant to the
provisions of Article V of said Improvement Proced• . .ire Code.
4. .Ju.risdlctlon to finally adopt and approve the plans and
spec1f1c&t!ons ~nd Engineer's estimate for the street improvements
under said Resolution of Intention and to order the improvements
described therein and to adopt and appr0ve an assessment and dia-
gram to pay the costs and expenses of said acqu1s1t1ons and im-provements 1s nereby reserved.
