ACQUISI'rION AND IMPROVEMENT 125 ·' .RESOLVED. by the Counc.t 1 of the City of' Palo Al to, California, that WHEREAS, said Councll did on the 9th day of April, 1951, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 2089 to order acqu1s1t1ons and improvements there.:n described; and d.1d therein fix the t:l.me and place when and where said Council would hear any and all per- sons interested thereln; 'l!U'JlEAS, . 1e City Clerk of said City duly gave not lee of the t.i.n1c and place of sald hearing, in the time form and manner pro- vided by law: WHEREAS, the time and place f~.xed !n 3aid Resolution when and where said Council w111 hear said protests and objections hao been regularly continued by the Council from t1me to time; ' WHEREAS_, written and oral protests and object1ons against the proposed acquisitions and improvements have been filed with the City Clerk of said City at or before or made at the time set for said. hear:!.ng and the tJ.me to which said hearing has 'been continued by persons inter·ested or who are owners of property which 1s subJect to assessment in said proceedings; WHEREAS, sa:td Council has duly heard and considered each and all of said protests and objections and each and all persons de·- s:1.r1ng to be heard in conn1;.?ct.1on wi t!I said matter was and were given an opportun:l. ty to and did pres•::nt thelr sald protests and object~Lons, and sa:d m.:i.ttcrs were fully presented, heard and con- sidered b~ said Council; and WHEREAS, it appears, and sald Council so finds, that said pro- tests so filed were not filed by the owners of more than one half of the area of the property to be assessed for said acq~1sitlons .:md improvements. NOW, THEREFORE, I'l' IS RESOLVED and ORDERED that sald protests and objections be, and they and each and all or them are hereby, overruled and denied. * * * * * * I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of resolution adopted by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, Callfovn:a, at a regular meeting thereof l1eld on the 9th day of July, 1951, by the tollowlng vote of the members thereof: A~....S, and 1.n favor thereof, Councilmen: Binhop, Blols, Bowden, Cashel, Cathcart, Drysdale, Gaspar, Hi 11, Marshall, Miller, Mitchell, Montrouil, Simp3on, Wickett.
