RESOLVED, by the City Counc:l Of the City Of Palo Alto
WHEREAS. sa.ld City Council did on the 28th day of May,
1951~ order the City Engineer to make and file with said
Coi .. mctl an amended assessment of the parcel of property the
forr:ter assessment upon which under Resolution or Intention
No. 1620 or said Council 1a designated upon the original
assm~sm-ent and diagram and confirmed by said Co1.<n.c11 on
January 13, 1948, and recorded 1n the office of the Superintendent
of Streets of said City, as diagram and assessment No. 60;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer d1d on the 29th day of Mayt
1951, p·xt'suant to said order, file with the Clerk ot said City a dlagram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 11th day of
,June, 1951, as the time for hearing said amended assessment
and cau$ed notice of said hearing to be published twice in the
Palc1 Al ·i;o Times, as appears from the aff1dc:.v1 t of publication
on file in the office of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing,
no proti~sts or objections were made or presented to the
proposed amended assessment, and all matters and things
pertaining to said amended aseessment were fully heard and
considered by said Clty Council;
NOW, THEREF'ORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that said amended
a.see ssm4~nt f lled w1 th the Clerk of said City pursuant to
resc1lut:lon ordering same, be and the same ie hereby ratified,
approved and confirmed.
IT IS .l?UR'i'HER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy or this resolution thereto attached, and
sald. Cii::y Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment
wlth a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that it is the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in
said. or1g1nal diagram and assessn:ent number 60 that it has been
displaced by said amended assdssment, giving the date, and shall
credit upon such amended assessment all payments theretofore
made up<>n the original asaesement. When said amended assessment
hae been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the or1g1nal
assessment involved to be canceled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council or the City of Palo Alto
at a regular meeting thereof' held on the 11th day or June, 1951,,
by the following vote:
