that RF.SOLVED, by the Council of the C1ty of Palo Alto, California,
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Palo Alto d1d, on
the 8th day of June, 1951, publicly open, examine and declare all
sealed proposals or b1ds for the work to be done and improvements
to be made, as described and specified in Resolution or Intention
No. 2094 of said Council adopted April 9, 1951, to which resolu-
tion reference is hereby made for a descriptton of said work and
improvements and the materials, supplies, and equipment to be fur-nished therefor;
WHEREAS, on June 11, 1951, this Council adopted ?.esclution
No. 2121 of Preliminary Determination and of Intention to Make Changes and Modifications; and
WHE.qEA.S, the City Manager has reported his findings to the
Council, which f1nd1ngs have been duly considered by the said Council;
NOW, 'l'HERE.F'ORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, as follows:
1. The Council hereby rejects all of said sealed proposals
or bids and hereby awards the contract for doing sald work and
making said improvements, as proposed to be modified, to the low-est responsible bidder, to wit;
EDWIN J. TOBIN COMPANY
at the priceg named in its bid.
2. That the Mayor and Clerk or said City of Palo Alto he,
and they are hereby, a1Jthorized to make and enter into a wr1 tten
contract with said successful bidder, and to receive and approve all bor1ds in connection therew1 th.

.I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of resolu-
tion adopted by the Council of the C1ty or Palo Alto, California,
at a regular meeting thereof held on the llth day of ,June, 1951, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Blois, Bolander, Bowden, Bower, Cashel, Cathcart 1 Drysdale,
F1•eedman, Hill, Linder, Miller, Mitchell, .Montrouil, Wickett.
NOES, Councilmen: None.
