that RESOLVE'D, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 2094 adopted
by this Council on April 9, 1951, th1s Council did on June
11, 1951, adopt 1 ts Resol1.ltion No. 2122 ordering acqu1s1-t1ona of easements;
WHEREAS, sald Resolution of Intention and sa1d proceedings
were had and taken pursuant to Article V of Ordlnance No. 844 of
said City con1:nonly designated the Palo Al to Improvement Procedure Code, adopted January 13, 1941;
NOW, THEREFORE' IT IS FOUND' DETERMINED AND ORD:ft;RED J as fellows:
1. The public interest and necessity require the acqu!s1-
t1c·ns, construction and complet:lon, by said City ot public 1mprove-me~ts described in said RPsolution of Intention and in the proceed-
ings relating thereto, and the easements and property proposed to
be acquired described therein are necessary therefor.
2. The public interest and necessity require the taking
of immediate possession in connection w1th the eminent domain proceedings.
3. The public necessity requires said acquis1t1ons and im-
provements; said proposed acqu1a1t:1one and improvements are planned
and located in the manner which will be moat compatible with the
greatest pub11c good and the least private injury, and all of said
acqu1slt1ona are located within the territorial limits of the City of Palo Alto.
4. The City Attorney and the law firm of Mesers. Kirkbrlde,
Wil::ion, Harzfeld &: Wallace, employed for that purpose, are hereby
dir•;?cted to institute and conduct to conclusion any action 1n emi-
nen·c domain for the acquisitions of said easements, to undertake
the n~cessary action to obtain immediate possession thereof, and
to take such action as is necessary therein.
5. Reference le hereby made to said Resolution of Intention
and related proceedings for a particular description of said pro-
posed acquisitions and improvements, on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy-of resolu-
tion adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto, Cali-
fornia, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 11th day of
