that RESOLVED, by the Council of the C1ty or Palo Alto, Calir>rn11,
WHEREAS, the Council did on the 9th day or April, 1951, adopt
1ts Resolution of Intention No. 2094 to order certain acquisitions
and improvements to be made in said City, ~nder and pursuant to
Article V of Ordinance No. 844 of said City, adopted January 13,
1941, entitled "Palo Alto Improvement Procedure Code", and to
1saue bonds pursuant to Part 4, Bond Plan C or Article rl or said
Ordinance No. 844, reference to ·which resolution 1s hereby made
for a particular description or the acquisitions and improvements
to be made, the boundaries of the assessment district and the bonds to be issued;
WHEREAS; said Resolution of Intention No. 2094 has been duly
published twice in the Palo Alto Times, a newspaper of general
circulatior1 printed and published 1n ea1d City, wherein all persona
interested, having any objections to the proposed aequ1s1tions
and improvements or against the district to be asaessed for the
costs and expensea thereof, or against the grades at which said
work shall be done, or to the Engineer's estimate or the costs
and expenses thereof, or against the diagram or assessment, were
notified of the time and place of the hearing as contained
in said resolution or intention; said resolution was duly published
within the time and in the manner pro-:.~1de<1 1n said Improvement
Procedure Code, and as directed by said resolution of intention,
as appeara from the affidavit of publ1cat1on on file in the office
of the City Clerk of said City;
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed ror said hearing no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
acquisitions and improvements, or to the district to be assesaed,
or to the grades at which said work waa to be done, or to the
bonds to be issued to pay the costs and expenses thereof, or
to the Engineer's estimate of the costs and expenses thereof, or
against the diagram or assessment, and all persons interested
desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard,.and
all matters and things pertaining to said proposed acquisitions
and improvements were duly heard and considered by said Council,
and said Council has acquired jur1sd1ct:1.on to order said acqui-
s1 t1ona and improvements and to confirm said assessment to pay the cos ta and expenses thereof';
NOW, THEREFORE, said Council does hereby FIND, DETERMINE and ORDER, as follows:
1. That the plans and specifications for street improve-
ments under said Resolution of Intention be, c:md they are hereby,
!'1nally adopted arid approved as the plans and apec1f1cations
to which said work and improvements shall be done as called for :m Bald Resolution or Intention.
2. That the Engineer's estimate of the itemized and total
estimated cost and expenses for said acqu1a1t1ona and improvements
be, and it is hereby,f1nally adopted and approved as the Engin-
eer's total and detailed estimate of the costs and expenses or said acqu1s:1:tions and improvements.
3. All public streets, alleys and ways in ~se in the per-

4. That the map3 and descriptions or the landa and easements
to be acquired be, and they are hereby, finally adop·ted and ap-proved.
5. That the public interest and convenience requires, and ea~d c.ouncil does hereby order the acquisitions and improvements
to be made as described 1n and in accordance with said Resolution or !ntention on file in the office or the City Clerk of said C1ty,
reference to which 1e hereby made for a more particular descrip-
tion or said acquisitions and improvements and also for r~rther
particulars, pursuant to the provisions or Article V of said Improvement Procedure Code.
6. That the map of the a5sessment district be, and the same
1s hereby finally adopted and approved as the nl9.p of the assess-
ment district, and the boundary or said assessment district as sho~ thereon is hereby determined and established to be the boun-
dary of the assessment district to pay for the costs and expenses of sa1d acqu1s1t1ons and improvements.
7. That the assessment and d:l.agram for the cost and expenses or the acq1.lis.! ti on and improvements described 1n said Resolution
of Intention be, and the same is hereby, rat1f1eti, iipproved and
confirmed as the assessment and diagram to pay the ccets and ex-
penses or said acquisitions and 1mprovementd.
8. That the C1ty Clerk of aald City shall deliver ea1d
diagram and assessment to the Superjntendent or Streets or said
City, together with a certified copy of this resolution thereto
attached, and aa1d Superintendent of Streets shall thereupon
record such assessment and diagram in his office in a suitable
book to be)kept for that purpose and a.pper.d thereto h1s certifi-
cate of the date of such recording, and such record shall be the
assesament roll to pay for the costs and expense~ of said acqui-sitions and improvements.
9. Immediately upon such recordation said Super:ntendent
of Streets shalJ. give notice thereof by two publications in the
Palo Alto Times, a newapaper of general circulation printed and
published in sa.id City, which notice a hall set forth, among other
things, that all sums assessed therein are due and payable at his
office immediately, and that payment thereof .1a to be made to him
within thirty days after the date of recording said assessment,
which date shall be stated in said notice, and such other matters as are required by Sectlon 7 of Article v or said Improvement Procedure Code.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of resolution
adopted by the City Council or the City or Palo Alto, California,
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 11th day of June, 1951, by the foll~:>w1ng vote of the members thereof:
