N .Q • 2121 OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION AKO OF INTENTION TO MAKE CHANG.ES AND MODIFICATIONS PROJECT NO. 51-5 SAN ANTONIO A.HNBX SBWERS ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMB'HT 111 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City or Palo Alto, Cal1- forniat that it doeo hereby preliminarily-determine that the pub- lic interest, convenience and necessity require, and that it is the intention of said Council to make certain changes and mod1t1ca- t1one in the work to be done under Resolution No. 2o69 or Prelimi- nary Determination and Resolution No. 2094 of Intention Adopted by this Council on Febr:Jary 13,1951, and. April 9, 1951, respectively1 to wit: 1. Increaoe the total amount of the assessment rrom $157,245.00 to $207,350.00 and apportion and d1str1bute said assessment ae increased according to benefits. 2. Modify the general deecr1pt1ons or easements to be ac- quired to read ae follows: a) Beg1nn1ng at a point on Colorado Avenue approximately 600 ft. northerly of Greer Road, running thence southeasterly and generally parallel to the northeasterly boundary or the c. M. Woo:ster Company• s Subdivision or the Clarke Ranch and ea1d boun- ~a~r extended southeasterly to San Antonio Avenue. b) Beginning at a point on Louis Road approximately 125.56 ft. northwesterly of the easterly boundary of C. M. Wooster Com- pany's Sub~i1 vision or the Clarke Ranch, thence northerly and generally parallel to said easterly boundary 1590 rt. more or less. c) From the northeasterly terminus or Diss Road along its r1ortheasterly prolongation to the po1nt or intersection w1 th the ~outheasterly prolongation of Louis Road, thence northwesterly a:long said southeasterly prolongation or Louis Road to its south- easterly terminus. 2. Modify the work to be done, the plans and specifications therefor, and the eet1mate or costs to eliminate the construction of the sewage pumping station and appurtenances on Greer Road and all work on Diss Road from Santa Clara Avenue to Waverley Stt"eet and to show the constr-uction of vi tri:i'ied elay pipe sanitary sewer mains, wye branches, risers, and house laterals, together with stan~ard manholes and cast iron manhole and riser frames and covers 1n Mayview from Grove Avenue to Middlefield Road, Louie Road from the southeasterly city limits, as established prior to completion of the annexation approved by the Coun~il by Ordinance No. 1317, adopted January 22, 1951, southeasterly for its entire length, and Diss Road !":-om Waverley Street northeasterly for 1ts entire length. 3. The Superintendent or Streets shall change arid modify the plans and specifications, the deacr1pt1ons and maps or ease- ments to be acquired, and estimate or cost to reflect the above ~hanges, by either changing them on their face or by filing amend- ments thereto. 4. Modified plans and apec1ficat1ons, estimate of costs, and descriptions and maps of easements to be acquired are hereby • " 1'12 pre11m1nar1ly approved and ordered tiled 1n the office or the City Cle'rk. Mon,day, the 25th day ot June, 1951, at th& hour of 7: 30 o'dlock P.M. at the Council Chamber, City Hall, Palo Alto, Cali- fornia, ara hereby fixed as the time and place when and where said Council will consider and finally determine whether the public interest, convenience and necessity require aa1d changes, and when and where it will consider and r1nally act upon the matter of mak- ing said changes and mod.1flcat1ons and when and where it will hear all protests 1n relation thereto. The City Clerk ehall cauee a copy or this resolution to be puhl1ahed twice in the Palo Alto T1me8, a newspaper or general circulation publ1&hed in said C1ty.t the first of which publ1cat1one shall be at least ten d&ys before the day eet for hearing.
