OF IMMEDIATE POSSESSION THEREOF, AND DIRECTING THE FILING OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS.

that RESOLVED, by the Counci 1 of the City of Palo Al·co, Cal1!'ornia,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 2093 adopted
by this Council on April 9, 1951, this Council did on June 11,
1951, adopt its Resolution No. 2117 ordering acquisitions of easements;
WHEREAS, sald Resolution of Intention and said proceedings
were had artd taken pursuant to Article V or Ordinance No. 844 or
said City Commonly designated the Palo Alto Improvement Procedure Code, adopted January 13, 1941;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED, as follows:
l. The public interest and necessity require the acquisitions,
construction and completion, by said City, or the public improve-
ments described 1n ea1d Resolution of Intention and in the proceed-
ings relating thereto, and the easements and property proposed to
be acquired described therein are necessary therefor.
2. The public interest and necessity require the taking
of immediate possess~on in connection with the eminent domain proceedings.
3. The public necese1~;y requtres sald acqu1s1 tions and im-
provements; said proposed acq1i1s1 t1one and improvements are planned
and located in the manner which will be mcst compatible with the
greatest public good and the least private injury, and all of aa1d
acqui51t1ons are located within the territorial 11m1ts of the City Of Palo Alto. •
4. The C1ty Attorney and the law firm.of Messrs. Kirkbride,
Wilson, Harzfeld & Wallace, employed for th2 purpose, are hereby
d!rected to institute and conduct to conclusion an action .!.n emi-
nent domain for the acquisition of said easements, to undertake
the necessary action to obtain immediate possession thereo1·, and
to take such action as is necessary therein.
5. Reference 1s hereby made to said Resolution of Intention
and related proce~dings for a particular description of said pro-
posed acquisitions and improvements, on f11e in the office of the City Clerk or said City.

adopted by the City Council or the City of Palo Alto, Cal1fcrn1a,
at a regular meet1.ng thereof held on the 11th day or June, 1951,
