OF PRELIMINARY DITERMINATION AND OF IN'l'ENTION TO
MAKE CHANGES AND MODIPICATIONS
PROJECT NO. 49-10
AMARILLO AVE'.NUE, ET AL
ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT
RESOLVED, by the Council Of the C1ty or Palo Alto, Cal1forn.1a,
that it does hereby preliminarily determine that the public interest, convenience and necessity require, and that 1t 1s the intention or said Council to make certain changes and mod1t1cat1ona in the
work to be done under Resolution No. 2086 of Preliminary Deter-
mination and Resolution No. 2089 or Intention adopted by this
Council on March 26, 1951, and April 9, 1951, respectively, to-wit:
1. Change and modify the work to be done and the plans and
epec1f1cat1ons and estimate of cost to show the construction or
a storm sewer p1pe together with catch basins and manholes in
Diss Road from Middlefield Road southwesterly to a point 275 reet southerly or Cowper Street.
2. The Superintendent or Streets shall change and modify the pl.ins and spec1ficat1one, and estimate of cost to reflect the
above •Zhanges, by either changing them on their race or by filing amendm1~nts thereto.
3. Modified plans and spec1t1eat1ons and estimate or costs,
are hereby preliminarily approved and ordered filed in the office or the City Clerk.
Monday, the 25th day or June, 1951, at the hour of 7:30
o'clock P.M. at the Council Chambera, City Hall, Palo Alto,
ca11rorn1a, are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where
said Council w111 consider and finally determine whether the public
interest, convenience and neceaelty requ1re said changesf and
when and where it will consider and finally act upon the matter or making said changes and mod1f1cat1ona and when and where it will hear all protests in relation thereto.
The City· Clerk shall cause a copy or thie. resolution to be
published twice in the Palo Alto Times, a newspaper or general
circulation published in said City, the first or which publications
shall be at least ten days before the day set for hearing.
The City Clerk shall also cause a copy of this resolution to be p·:>sted on or near the Chamber Door or the City Council at
least t•fm days prior to said day or hearing.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy or
resolutlon adopted by the City Council or the City or Palo Alto,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 11th day
of June~ 1951, by the following vote of the members thereof:
