ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT

RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City or Palo Alto,, ca11rorn1a, that
WHEREAS, said Council, pursuant to Resolution or Intention
No. 2017 adopted by said Counc11 on August 13, 1950,, and 1ta Reso-
lution calling ror bids on sale o~ bondB pursuant thereto~ adopted
on April 9, 1951,, notice or said sale has been duly given;
WHEREAS, tM.s 1s the time and place fixed therein for re-
ce1 v1ng bids tor the purchase of said bonds, and said bids have
been received and publicly opened, examined and declared by this Coun<!:U;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That all written bids received for the purchase or said
bonds, excepting the bid herein etated, be, and they are her~by,
rejected, and that said bonds be, and they are hereby,ordered
sold to Hannaford & Talbot and Blair, Rollins & Co.~ Inc.
as 't;he highest responsible bidder therefor, with interest to the
date of delivery or said bonds, said sale to be subject to all or
the terms and cond1 ti one set forth ir1 said roeolution call1.ng for sealed proposals and 1n said accepted bid.

2. That the City Cl~rk be, and she 1s hereby directed to
have said bonds printed forthwith, and that the same be immediately
signed and sealed and delivered to said bidder on receipt or the
amount therefor as above etated, with interest but not otherwise,
and upon the performance of the conditions contained in said written offer.
3. That the interest rate or ea1d bonds be, and the sa1ne 1e hereby, fixed at the rate stated in aa1d bid.

I hereby cert1ty the roregoinb to be a true copy of resolu-
tion adopted by the City Council or the City or Palo Alto, Cal1-
forn1a, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 23rd day of April, 1951, by the following vote:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Blois, Bolander, Bowden, Bower, Cashel, Cathcart,
Drysdale, Gaspar, Hill, Linder, Mitchell, Montrou1l, Wickett.
NOES, Councilmen: None.
ABSENT, Councilmen: Freedman
