RELATIVE TO THE TRANSFER AND SALE OF U. S. TREASURY BONDS.
The Council of the City of Palo Alto DOES RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. That W. C. Cobb, City Treasurer be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to exchange $5,000.00 par
value U. s. Treasury Bonds 2 3/4~ due 1960-65 and held in the
meter deposit fund for $5,000.00 par value U. s. Treasury
Bond 2~ due 1963-68 held in th~ Dixon fund, and to deposit said latter bond8 in the meter deposit fund.
BE IT FiJRTHER RESOLVED that the City Treaa1irer be
authorlzed and directed to sell the $5,000.00 U. S. Treasury
Bonds 2 3/4% due 1960-65 at the market and out of th~ proceeds
of said sale to purchase at the market $5,000.00 par value U. s.
Treasury bonds 2 1/4% due December 15, 1962 and callable Dec-
ember 15, 1959, and to deposit sa1d latter bonds in the Dixon
fund, together with any other remaining proceeds of the abov~ mentioned sale of bonds.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and passed by the Council of the City of Palo Alto
at a regular meeting held on Monday, April 9, 1951, by the fol.lowing 1rote:
