CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT
OREGON AVENUE ET AL
PROJECT NO. 48-l
RESOLVED: by the C1ty Council of the City of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, sa1d City Council did on the 12th day or March,
1951, order the City Engineer to make and file with said Council

an amended asaesament of the parcel of property the former
assessment upon wM.ch under Resolution of Intention No. 1833
or aa1d Council 1s deslgnated upon the or1g1nal assessment and
diagram and confirmed by said Council on April 12, 1949, and
reccrded 1n the office of the Superintendent of Streets of said City, as diagram and aasees·ment number 286-A;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 16th day of March,
1951, pursuant to aa1d order, file with the Clerk of said City a diagram and amended assessment;
WHERF.AS, sa1d Council f1xed Monday, the 26th day of ~.arch,
1951, aa the time for hearing sald amended assessment and caueed
notice of said hearing to be published twice in the Palo Alto Times
as appears from the affidavit of publication on file in the office of the Clerk of aa1d City; and
WHEREAS .• at the time and place fixed for said hearing,
no protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended asaeasment~ anci. all matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said City Council;
NCW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to Resolution ordering
same, be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FTJETHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver aaid amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy or this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of eaid City
that it is the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
ThP City Engineer shall note opposite the several asaessments
in said original diagram and assessment number 286-A that it has
been displaced by said amended as,essment, giving the date, and
shall credit upon such amended aasesement all payments theretofore
made upon the original assessmant. When said amended assessment
has been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original
assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
·and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 26th day of March, 1951,
