RBSOLVBD, by the City Council of th.e City of Palo Alto
WHB.REAS, said City Council did on the 12th day or March,
1951, orde:c-the City Engineer to make and file with said Council
en amended assessment of the parcalo or property the former
assessments upon which under Resolution or Intention No. 1516 or said Council are designated upon the original assessment and
diagram and confirmed by said Council on January 13, 1947, and
recorded in the off ice or the Superintendent of Streets of said
City, aa diagram and assessment nu•bers 37 and 38;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 16th day or March, ·
1951, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk of said City a diagram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, 3a1d Counc:ll fixed Monday, the 26th day of Marchi'
l951J as the time for hearing !aid amended assessment and caused
notice or said hearing to 'be published twice 1n the Palo Alto
Times as appears from the affidavit of publication on file in the office of the Clerk of eaid City; ane
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for aa1d hearing,
no protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assesement, and all matters and things pertaining to aa1d
amended assesBment were fully heard and considered by said City Council;
NOW, TiiEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assess-
ment filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to Resd.ut1on ordering
same, be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of eald City shall
deliver said amended ae~essment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that it is the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the several assessments
in said original diagram and assessment numbers 37 and 38 that they
have been displaced by said amended assessment, giving the date, and
shall credit upon such amended assessment all payments theretofore
made upon the original assessment. When said amended assessment
has be·en recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original
asaea6ment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council or the City or Palo Alto at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 26th day of March, 1951, by the
following vote:
