CONFIRMUlO AMENDED ASSESSMENT

PROJ'ECT NO. 48-l
RESOLVED, by the C1ty Council or the C1ty of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, said City Council. did on the 13th day or February,
1951, order the City Engineer to make and file with said Council
an amended asaeaament or the parcel of property the rormer
aaseesment upon Which under Resolution or Intention No. 1833
or said Council 1s designated upon the original assessment and
d1agram and confirmed by said Council on April 12, 1949, and
recorded in the oftic6 or the Super1ntendant of Streets or said
City, a5 diagram and assessment number 323;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the !5th day or
February, 1951, purouant to said order, file with the Clerk of
said City a diagram and amended assessment;
WHRREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 12th day of
Marchi 1951, as the time tor hearing said amended assessment
and caused notice of said hearing to be published twice in
the Palo Alto Times as appears from the affidavit or publ1cat1on
on file in the off1oe or the Clerl< or sa.1(t City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place f1XEtd ror said hearing,
no prot~ste or objections were made or pre~sented to the
proposed amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining
to said amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said City Co,.mcil;
NOW, THEREFORE1 IT IS ORDERED that said amended aseessment
filed with the Clerk of sald City pursuant to Resolution ordering
same, be and the same is hereby ratified 1 approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHBR ORDERED, ·that the Clerk or sa1d Clty shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
w1 th a ··certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessment
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk or said City
that it 1a the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall no~oppos1te the several assessments
ln said original diagram and assessment number 323 that it has
been displaced by said amended assessment, giving the date, and
shall credit upon such amended assessment all payments theretofore
made upon the original assessment. When said amended assessment
has been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original assessment involved to be cancelled.
I hereby certlfy that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council or the City of Palo Al·to
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 12th day or March, 1951,
by the following vote:
Blo18, Bolander, Bowden, Bower, Cashel, Cathcart, Freedman,
AYES: Gaspar, Hill, Linder, Mitchell, Montrouil, Morten, Wickett.
NOES: None.
