CITY OF PALO ALTO, AND CAMCBLLING TAXES OH A
PORTION OF LOTS l AX» 3, MAP or PAUL SURVEY.
Resolved, by the C1ty Council or the City or Palo Alto,
California,, that
WHEREAS, said City has acquired ea3ementa 1n that certain
real property situate, lying and being in aa1d City, and herein-
after described for street, alley,, and other public purpoeee; and
VlIKREAS, said property wae ao acquired by said City arter
the lien date tor county and municipal taxes tor 1950-1951.
NOV, THBR.IFORE, IT IS HE!UCBY ORDDBD AS POLLOWS:
l. That this Council shall, and it does hereby request th.at
all taxes ror said fiscal year 1950-1951, and all preceding years,
whether tor county, municipal or other purpoaes,, be ~ancelled;
2. That this Council shall, and 1t does hereby, respectfully
request the Honorable Board ot Supervisors ot the County of Santa
Clara,, State Of Cal1torn1a, to cancel, or cause to be cancelled,
any and all such taxes which may be levied or entered by or for
them for county or other purposes on county tax rolls, and any
costs and penalties thereon;
3. That the Honorable D1atr1ct Attorney ror said County be,
and he 1e hereby respecttully requested·: to consent thereto;
-· That all such taxes, together with any penalties and
costs thereon, which may be levied or entered by this Council for
City or other pu~oees on City tax rolls be, and they are hereby
cancelled upon the consent or the City Attorney to such cancella-
tion, and the officer having custody or the records thereor is
hereby authortzed and 1ntructed to cancel all of' the aforesaid
taxes, costs and penalt1ee, if' any, on this order and the written
consent of the C1 ty A·ttorney or this City.
Reference is hereby 11ade to Sect1one 4986 and 4986.2 of the
Revenue and Taxation Code of the State or Cal1forh1a.
5. That the City Clerk or the City forthwith transmit one
certified copy of th1a resolution to the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors or the County or Santa Clara and one certified copy
thereof to the Honorable District Attorney of said County,
The real property above referred to is situated 1n the City
or Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, State or Cal1forn1a, and is
particularly described as follows:
Northeast 58.25 feet of Northwest 10 feet or
Lot 1 and Southwest 50 feet or Northwest 10 feet or Southeast 150 feet or Lot 3, Map of Paul Survey
Southwest 28 feet or Northeast 58.25 feet or
Southeast 125 feet ot Northwest 135 feet of Lot 1,
together with a triangular parcel 10 feet x 10 feet
