ACQUISITION AMD IMPROVBKINT
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
that the rollow1ng be, and they are hereby, preliminarily
approved, and ordered filed in the office or the City Clerk and
to be referred to 1n the Resolution ot Intention ror the acquisi-
tions to be had, work to be done and improvements to be made in
Third Street, Second Street, F1rut Street, Chestnut Avenue, Lam-
bert Avenue, Cambridge Avenue, Alley S-2, unnamed Alley to be
acquired paralleling El Camino Real and Northeasterly thereat
between College Avenue and Cambridge Avenue, two pedestrian lanes
extending from California Avenue to Alley S-2 between First
Street and Third Street, pedestrian lane to be acquired extending
from Southwesterly end of Alley S-1 to El Camj~o Real, to wit:
l. Plans and spec1ficat1ons tor acqu1s1t1on and improve-ment under said resolution or intent1onJ
2. Engineer'e estimate or the itemized and total estimated
costs and expenses for the acquisition and improvement under said resolution of intention;
3. Map ot the assesement diotr1ct designated "Improvement
Plana No. 51-1 for Third Street~ et al, acquisition and improve-ment"; and
4. Assessment and diagram for the oosta and expenses for
acquisition and improvement under said resolution or 1ntent1or1.

tion adopted by the Council or the City or Palo Alto, Cal1fo:'1lia,
at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 13th day of Pebruary,
1951, by the following vote or th~ members thereof:

Blois, Bolander. Bower, Cashel, Cathcart , Freedman, Gaspar,
Hill, Linder, Mitchell, Morten.
