RESOLUTION ABANDOJUNG PORTION OP GR.DR ROAD
BE'lYKEN AMARILLO AVENUE IN A GENERAL SOUTH-
EASTERLY DIRECTION TO THB SEALE WOOSTER CANAL
WHEREAS, the City or Palo Alto previously acquired a
. a·tr1p of land between Amarillo Avenue southeasterly to the
Seale Wooster Canal for the installation or a storm drain for storm waters and for future street purposes.; a•Jd,
WHEREAS, the location or aald road has been altered and
changed by virtue or the recordat1on or the map or Tract No. 796, Greer Park, being port1one or Lots 3 and 4, Map or Sub-
div1e1on No. 5, Seale Tract, within the City of Palo Alto; and, ·
WHEREAS, the px•eaent owners or aa1d Greer Park are con-
s truc t1ng said stormwater culvert at their expense and will
improve Greer Road as presently located on the new map or
Tract No. 796, Greer Park above referred to; and,
WHERB.AS, Greer Road, as formerly located on land acqu.ired
by the City of Palo Alto, has never been used by the public for street purposes;
NOW., THBREPORE, BE IT RESOLVED that that portion of Greer
Road between Amarillo Avenue southeasterly to the Seale Wooster
Canal, not 1~cluded in Greer Road as shown upon the map of
Tract No. 796, Greer Park, beipg portions of Lots 3 and 4, Map
of Subdivision No. 5, Seale Tract, ln the City or Palo Alto, be
and 1t 1a hereby abandoned for street or other public purposeo.
BB IT PlJRTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and she is
hereby directed to cause a oert11'1ed copy or this resolution
to be recorded in the otf1ee of the County Recoz•der o.t' Santa Clara County, California.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and paaaed by the Council or the City
of Palo Alto on the 13th day or February, 1951 by the following vote:
