CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT

HESOLVED, ty the City Council of the C:lty of Palo Alto
WHEREAS, said C.1 ty Council did on the 13th day of
November, 1950, order the C1 ty Engineer to mai-=e and .file
with said Council an amended assessment of the parcel of
property the former assessment upon which under Resolution
of Intention No. 1620 of said Council is desie;nated upon the
original a::iaessment and diagram and confirmed by said Counc~. l
on January 13, 1948, and recorded in the office of the
Superintendent or Streets of said City, as diagram end
assessment number 85;
WHEREP.8, said City Engineer did on the 15th day of
November, 1950, pursw:mt to said order, file w.lth the Clerk
of said City a d1agrarr and amended assessment; ·
WHEREAS, said Council f1x.ed Monday, the 27th day of
November, 1950, as the time for hearing said ame11ded assessment
and caused notice of said hearing to be p1~11shed twice in the
PA.lo Alto Times, as appears from the aff~.11av1t of publication
on file 1n the office of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the timt'! and place fixed for said hearing,
no protest~ or objections were made or presented to the
proposed amended assessment, and all matters and things
perta:l.ninP; to said amended assessment were fully heard and
considered by said City Council;
NOW, THEREPORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDF .... 'qED that said amended
assessment f!led with the Clerk of said City pursuant to
resolution ordering same, be and th~ same is hereby ratified,
approved Rnd confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City shaJ.l
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy of thls resol~tion thereto attached, and
said City l~ngineer shall thereupon r~cord such .?.mended assessment
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that it is the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in said
original d1.agra.m and assessmerit number 85 that it has been
d1~placed by said amended ass~ssment, giving the date, and shall
credit upon such a.mended assessment all payments theretofore
made upon the original assessment. When satd amended assessment
has been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original
assessment involved to be canceled.
