RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Pa~o Alto,
California, that
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Palo Alto
d1d., on the 6th day of Septembe:ro, 1950, publicly open,
examine a.n.d declare all sealed proposals or bids ror ~he
work to be done and improvements to be made, as described
and spec1f1ed in Besolut1on of Intention No. 1990 of sa1d
Counc11 adopted .June 12, 1950, to wh1ch resolution reference
is hereby made for a description of said work and improve-
ments and the ma":;er1ala, supplies and equipment to be
furnished therefor;
WHEREAS, the C1ty Manager has reported his f1nd1ngs to
the Council, which findings have been duly considered by
said Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, as 1~ollows:
0rhe Council hereby awards the contract ror doing said
worl{ and making said improvements to the lowest responsible
bidder, to-w1t: The C1ty of Palo Alto, at the prices
named in its bid.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of

resolut1on adopted by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 11th day of September,
1950, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Blo1s, Bolander, Bowden, Bower, Cashel, Cathcart, Freedman,
Gaspar, Hill, Linder, Montreuil, Merten, Wickett.
