RESOLUTION ABAHDONING EASEMENT IN BLOCK 183, CRESCENT
PARK ArDITION, TRACT NO. 629.
WHEREAS, in the original subdivision of Block 183, Crescent
Park Add1t1on, Tract No. 629, there was dedicated to the City o,r
Palo Alto an easement for public utilities on the northwesterly
r~ve feet of Lots 5 to 16 inclusive 1n said block; and
WHEREAS, since that time there has been a new easement dedi-
cated to the city adjoining the aforementioned easement, making
unnecessary the retention by the city or the original easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto DOES
RESOLVE as follows:
That that certain public utility easement on Lots 5 to 16
inclusive, Block 183, Crescent Park Addition, Tract No. 629, in
the City of Palo Alto, County of Santa Clara, State of California,
more particularly described as follows, to wit:
BEGINNING at a point on the Northwesterly line
of Lot 3, Block 183, "Tract No. 629, Crescent Park
AGdition,11 filed in Book 22 or Mapa at pages 46 and 47, Records of Santa Clara gounty, California, dis-
tant along said line No. 27 21' E. 37.59 feet from
the Westerly corner of said Lot; thence No. 27° 21'
E. Along the Northwesterl~ line of said Tract to the
Northerly coEner of Lot 16, Block 183 or saig Tract;
thence S. 77 32' E. 5.17 feet; thence S. 27 2l'W.,
parallel w1·th sa1~ Northwesterly line or said Tract
and perpendicularly distant 5.00 feet therefrom to a
point distant 5.00 feet perpendicularly and North-
easterly from the common line dividing Lota 2 and 3,
Block 183 of said Tract; thence Northerly to the
point of beginning.

The City Clerk is hereby directed to have a certified copy
of this resolution recorded in the office of tbe County Recorder
of Santa Clara county.
The above and f orego1ng resolution was dul;r and regularly
introduced and passed by the Council of the City of Palo Alto
at a regular meeting held on Mond~y, the 28th day of August,
1950, by the following vote:
