RESOLV"iD, by the Council ot the City of: Palo Alto,. Californla,
WHEREAS, ua:l.d Council, in response to notice duly given pur-
s~ant to Resolution of Intention No. 1721 adopted July 26, 1948,
and its resolut!on calling for bids on sale of bonds pursuant
there~o, ·'idopted on ,Tuly 24, 1950;
WHEREAS, thls ls the time and place fixed therein for receiv-
ing bids for the purchase of said bonds, and said bids have been
rece:ved and publicly opened, ex&mlned and declared by this Council;
NOW, 'fHEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That all wrltten bids received for the purchase of said
bonds, excepting ~he bid herein stated, be, and they are hereby
re,Jected, and that said bonds be, and they are hereby ordered sold
to LAWSON, r.:E.VY & WILLIAMS, an the highest re3pons1ble bidder th~re
ror, with interest to the date or delivery of said bonds, said sale
to be subject to all or the terms and conditions net forth in said
resolution calling for sealed proposals and in said accepted bid.

2. That the City Clerk of said City be, and she 1s hereby, ~
directed to have said bonds printed forthwith, and that the same be j
immediately si~ned and sealed and delivered to said bidder on -
receipt of the amount therefor as above stated, with interest, but
not otherw:l se·, and upon the performance of the condi t:lons contained
1n said written offer.
3. That the interest rate or said bonds be, and the same ls
hereby, fixed at the rate stated in aald bid.

tion wns duly and regularly adopted at a meeting of the City
Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, held on the 28th
