CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT
OREGON AVENUE ET AL
PROJECT NO. 48-l
2027
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the C1ty o.f Palo Alto
WHEREAS, said City Council did on the 14th day of August,
1950> order the City Engineer to make and file with said Council
an amended assessment of all parcels of property the former
assessment upon which under Resolution of Intention No. 1833 cf
said Council ls designated upon the original assessment and
diagram and confirmed by said Council on April 12, 1949, and
recorded 1n the office of the Superintendent of Streets of said
City, as diagram and assessment number 651 and 652-A;
WHEREAS> said City Engineer did on the 15th day of August,
1950, pursuant to aaid order, file with the Clerk of said City
a diagram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 28th day of August,
1950, as the time for hearing said amended assessments and caused
notice of said hearing to be published twice 1n the Palo Alto Times
as appears from the affidavit of publication on file in the office
of the Clerk of said City; and
WHF..REAS, at the time and place fixed for sa1d hearin~, no prote~ts or objections wer~ made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
amended aseessment were fully heard and considered by said City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to Reaolut1on orderin~
same, be 3nd the same is hereby ratified, approved nnd confirmed.
IT IS l"URTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk· of said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended assessments
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of sa~d City tha~ 1t is the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the several assessments
in said orlg1nal diagram and assessment numbers 651 and 652-A that
they have been displaced by said amended assessment, giving the
date, and shall credit upon such amended assessment all payments
theretofore made upor. the origin~l assea8ment. When said amended
assessments have been recorded, ·;he City Engineer shall cause the
original assessments involve~ to be canceled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was d~ly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 28th day ot' August, 1950, by the following vote:
